About Us: Meet the Executive Staff

Daniel Thorpe—2010 Conference Co-Executive Director
Daniel is a sophomore at the College majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Process Management and Consulting. He twice attended Princeton Model Congress, and worked on the staff of Maggie L. Walker Governor's School Model Congress in Richmond, VA. In his free time, he likes to read, meditate, run outdoors, and of course, work on Model Congress.

Kelsey Weissgold—2010 Conference Co-Executive Director
Kelsey is a sophomore at the College, working towards a major in Marketing, minor in Art/Art History, and a concentration in Management. She joined Model Congress during high school, and attended Princeton Model Congress multiple times, serving on the Executive Cabinet. In addition to Model Congress, she works on the staff of the College’s newspaper, The Flat Hat. She is also a member of AKPsi, the professional business fraternity, and Hall Council. Outside of school, she enjoys shopping, playing video games, and practicing yoga.

Stef Felitto—2010 Conference Head Chair and W&M Model Congress Club President
Stef is a sophomore at the College, and is originally from Connecticut. She is working on a double major in Government and Business. Throughout High School she participated in many model congress and mock government events like the American Legion Auxiliary Girls State and Girls Nation. In addition to Model Congress, she is a Senator for her class in the Student Assembly. Outside of government-related activities, she enjoys eating… a lot.

Isshin Teshima—Club Vice President
Isshin is a junior at the College, majoring in government and Chinese. Isshin was first exposed to model congress in his junior year of high school when he participated in his school's Model Congress conference. The subsequent year, he attended Princeton Model Congress and received the Best Delegate-Honorable Mention award for his service on the Press Corps. Outside of Model Congress, he also serves as News Editor at the oldest newspaper on campus, The Flat Hat. He is also a member of Rock Climbing Club and Vietnamese Student Association. Outside of academics, he enjoys biking, playing video games (yay Pokemon HeartGold!), playing the piano, and chatting with friends at the local Starbucks.

Tom Fisher—2010 Conference Director of Technology and Club Treasurer
Tom is a sophomore at the College majoring in Economics and Finance. He first got involved in model congress during his junior year of high school, when he first went to Harvard Model Congress in Boston and assisted on the staff of the Governor's School Model Congress in Richmond, VA.

Eileen Setien—2010 Conference Williamsburg Area Director
Eileen is a junior at the College majoring in Business-Finance, concentrating in Marketing, and minoring in Psychology. In high school, she was involved in Model United Nations and acted as the Secretary General of the James River High School Center for Leadership Model UN Conference. In addition to Model Congress, Eileen is involved in the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, hall council, the Educational Policy Committee, and Development Ambassadors as Executive Director.

Armina Amini—2010 Conference Director of Publications
Armina is a Sophomore at the College majoring in International Relations with Arabic, and is working on a concentration in Middle Eastern Studies. She was not introduced to Model Congress until attending William and Mary, but has found it enjoyable and hopes to continue her involvement. In her free time, Armina loves to read, visit CW, procrastinate and cook!
